Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We just had the last Ice Cream Thursday of the summer here, alas, because as of next week, they go back to working 5 days a week. In other good news, my boss is on vacation next week. In bad news, he just asked if I can work late tonight, and I just made a 5pm eye exam appointment at the place downstairs. BAH.

AmyLiz, I'm way behind on work. Which is why, of course, I'm playing on the internet.

[Edit: also, I can't spell. Which may not be a good combination with either the work or the internet.]

Nah, it's stupid for me not to reschedule the glasses until Monday -- I'm not going to have any work to do then. It's just so annoying that I sit here all afternoon like lalala and then at 4:30 he's all OMG!!!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was hacked off when I discovered that OSX removed the "Print Window" feature, dude.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

nods "Can I get a printout listing the files on this cd?" "No."

I've never tried this, but can't you do that from a terminal window? Like:

ls > printername

or somesuch?

eta: You can use the lpr command to do that....
