So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

DX, as Dana said, one of the big issues is that the Big Famous WIP in question (which is a pretty well known WIP) isn't hers to offer. There are something like 14 people who were working on that project, none of them were consulted, and she's put them in an exceedingly awkward spot.

Fandom. So crazy.

Oh, and thanks to folks for the advice. I get antsy about anything that involves me asking somebody for something that I need and they don't have to give me. Or that they do have to give me, but might not want to. Or that they don't care one way or the other about, but... right, so "asking for anything" then.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I get antsy about anything that involves me asking somebody for something that I need and they don't have to give me.

Let cousinjean be your inspiration.

I'm going to take a stand and say that I don't want anyone to pay me to do anything!

Wait, no... I want someone to pay me to do absolutely nothing at all, no strings attached. That's my dream job.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Get dressed, Heather, and congratulations on the choice of jobs. Which one do you want? I mean, really want to go to every day?

I suppose I won't know until after the interview, but right now the non-profit is in the lead with exciting job a close second.

I should stop counting chickens.

Am now dressed, now must put on makeup and get out the door.

I want someone to pay me to do absolutely nothing at all, no strings attached.

I tried that this morning on LJ. So far, I haven't had any takers.

Wait, no... I want someone to pay me to do absolutely nothing at all, no strings attached.

I'd hire you, but alas, my budget for hiring somebody to do nothing is also nothing.

Being solicitous towards a bigwig whose project you resent while under the influence of snot and drugs is a little nervewracking.

I think the mysterious rose on my desk is starting to get wilty.

I should promise porn? (Actually, I don't even know what cousinjean wrote. But let's be honest here, when I write fanfiction, I mean porn.)
