Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

Thanks for posting that for me, sumi (and ita, for posting the trailer news)!

Last I heard, Billy might have a romantic comedy lined up for filming this summer; it's mentioned on his website, but there's no shooting date scheduled as yet.

And not only is Karl (yummmm--sorry...) playing the baddie in the new Bourne film, but he's also in the Chronicles of Riddick flick with Vin.

Cereal--I think he's doing the Chucky thing because Brad Dourif asked him to, and he thought it would be a kick (and probably a fast few bucks, since it's just a voiceover role).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And David Wenham is in Van Helsing (along with Hugh Jackman, of course, and Will Kemp).
