My memory may be dim, but I don't recall Angel so much "saving" Buffy in "Beauty and the Beasts" as ruthlessly killing the guy she was fighting before Buffy herself could put him down in a non-lethal manner. Actually, "Angel" and "Earshot" are about the only instances I can recall where Angel clearly saved Buffy rather than just helping out.

I can't even.

Fab Filippo [Scott Hope] is on the cover of this week's Now, one of Toronto's alternative weeklies. He's from Toronto originally and performing in "This is our youth" here until October 18th. The article title says "Hot actor returns to the stage after wooing Buffy and wowing Sophia". (Loren)

You should see him naked. I mean, really!

Fabrizio, but he's sometimes credited as "Fab."

Fabrizio, but he's sometimes credited as "Fab."

His parents immigrated to Canada from Calabria.

He goes to some lengths in the article to talk about how straight he is. (After QaF and being mentored in theatre by Daniel McIvor and Ken McDougall, maybe he was having trouble getting dates.) Who knew?

With the number of girls like me who fall for gay guys, I would think that might HELP Fab get dates....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If he doesn't want people to think he's gay, he should stop going by "Fab." IJS.

Sigh. I suppose I shouldn't automatically bristle upon hearing that, given that Fab is fairly young and just starting his career. But I wish QaF would cast some straight actors that didn't study at Kerr Smith's No, Really, I Promise I'm 100% Real Man School of Public Relations. Couldn't someone just say "nah, I'm not really gay, just an actor. Next question?"

Matt, I'll second your request. If you feel the need to constantly remind us how straight you are after taking the gay role, maybe you just shouldn't take the role...

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.
