... because even though most of us have an idea of just how crazy, and a couple folks here have a stunningly clear picture of just how crazy, it still would have been pretty hilarious and frightening.
To give ‘em credit, the line about Buffy fans leaping from their roofs clutching photos of SMG and cursing Marti is pretty funny. I hope to God it hasn’t actually happened though.
Are Buffy fans crazier than hardcore Trekkies or any other fandom you care to mention?
I’m just sayin', the only time I’ve dressed up as a Mutant Enemy character, it was for a Halloween costume party. I’m vaguely acquainted with the woman who wore her Starfleet uniform to jury duty.
I've fanwanked on this one before, Mr. Fred. I think we may be due, in one way or another, for the Slayers to start fighting each other. That brings with it a Highlander dynamic.
Oh Great now i'm earwigged.
We are all mortals,
we have inside a slayer's strength.
I responded to the writer at the Whedonesque thread. Because I'm an idiot.
I think you're on target, Allyson. But I could also be an idiot. I would write a letter, but they keep the pens away from me, as a crazed Buffy fan.
My earwig filk would have worked better with proper HTML coding, which wiped out most of it....
Aren't us Buffy fanatics supposed to be living together in a padded room somewhere in Rhode Island?

Wow, DX's place must be REALLY crowded.
You think its crowded now, just wait until the martini bar and karaoke lounge go in next Thursday.
I forgot how great the fight scene in "All The Way" was until this morning on FX. Still one of my least favorite episodes of all time. And I liked Dawn the entire 3 seasons she was on the show. I don't know what it was about the episode that made me dislike it so much. I mean..Pirate Xander foreshadowing, Amber Tamblyn, and Dawn and Janice pulling the scooby gangs old standby phone trick.
Oooh OMWF is on now. I should go to bed, but I just cant miss it. Seeing it for the 58th time is certainly more important than sleep.
Amber Tamblyn
She's got a series coming this fall - another one in the young woman/supernatural things happen genrette. It's called Joan of Arcadia. I disremember which network has it, though. I might give it a shot. I loved AT on General Hospital. I caught part of her performance in a Twilight Zone, when I left extra time on my VCR timer, after taping a BtVS. I thought she did well as Janice in All the Way
