"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

I know, I think that for some reason "Joan of Arcadia" is the new show I am looking most forward to this fall.

She did great in The Twilight Zone episode and was the only redeeming scenes of the movie "The Ring". I hated that movie.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Amber Tamblyn was also in an episode of that CBS missing persons show Without a Trace. She played a crazy girl and was shown wearing nothing but underwear (not in a sexy way, in a crazy way) at one point. There's that funny twinge where I was like, I remember when she was a prepubescent kid, farting around Port Charles with Lucky! I mean the One True Lucky, not any of his cheap imitations.

I am pleased to see her getting more work, although I think "Joan of Arcadia" is about as cockamamie a concept as anything.

Yes! Jonathan Jackson (or is it Joshua Jackson - dammit - I never watched Creek and still it confuses me).

Joshua Jackson = Pacey. Jonathan Jackson = Lucky.

Both = (until recently) jailbait.

Awww. Yeah. And, he should be doing more. Or maybe he is, but just not in plain sight enough for me.

Really really yummy jailbait. I was crushing on Josh Jackson when I was jailbait, and Jonathan Jackson is just a pretty, pretty man.

Ewwww. Jonathan Jackson will always be jailbait for me. He's Laura's kid for cry-yi-yi. *shudder* Can't think of him as anything other than a baby-faced Spencer.

Um, counting on fingers here -- I think Jonathan Jackson is probably 21. Dude. It's been a decade since he started on GH.

But I know what you mean, Cindy -- some people, because you were first acquainted with them in their youth, will always feel slightly strange to see as adults. (Much less sexual creatures.) I cannot share Dana's love for Elijah Wood, e.g., because he still looks an awful lot like the bowl-cutted boy in Avalon. (Which is a favorite movie of mine.)

I was crushing on Josh Jackson when I was jailbait

Yes, but he wasn't jailbait to you! He was just the right age! (Okay, he was actually older than you, and still is.) He was jailbait to me, or close to it.

Exactly. It is an issue for me, because I am 36. Jonathan Jackson played a what? 10 year old, maybe, when he first came to GH. I was 26 then. He'll forever be 'that talented kid' in my mind. I think he's a great actor. I'd like to see him in more. I thought he'd be an interesting player to cast on Buffy.

Oh, lordy -- me, too. Well, and as it should be. Kid's, like, a decade and a half younger. Which means he's my eldest nephew's age, and anything I have crush on must be closer in age to me than to him. It's a rule.
