I was so glad for the extra time to sleep. I think I'm finally actually able to sleep some. I have been so sleep deprived and exhausted this past week. Saturday mom came to get her car back. m and I both miss her car. .it's a Rav4. I have a Honda Fit .
And I've had to deal with a few coworkers who have really negative things to say about SNAP receptients, and some of our coworkers rely on SNAP . One of them is just really negative about almost everything and she was so harsh and judgemental and she has kidney damage from drug addiction. She's sober now but I wanted to point out that people could make some really mean generalizations about her because of her past.
It's been really slow . Really really slow. And it makes me mad at this whole situation because I know we are slow because people don't have a way to buy groceries.

That is wild Askye, that folks with coworkers on SNAP would be like that. Damn.
Laura that is so strange to make the top floor of the hotel be the pet floor! I’ve seen the ground floor be it (because you have to take the dog out) but top floor seems an odd choice.
I know a lot of people don’t like daylight savings (or is it daylight savings time ending? I never know) but I do like the light in the morning because I feel like 4pm vs 5pm sunset means the evening feels nighttime either way, but 730am vs 830am sunrise is the difference beteeen “fine I’ll get up in time for work” vs “just no, I’m going back to sleep, I do not want to start work in the dark”

Daylight Saving Time is in the summer time, it's standard now. I like having more light in the morning but realistically I still have to get up in the dark if I'm going in to the office which dampens my enthusiasm for the change somewhat
Edited to fix the punctuation but now that Tep has reminded me to look at post numbers, this is a good one!

I just haven't had a cool post number in a while, so I'm taking this one.

I actually like yours more, dcp. I planned poorly.

Aw, nice to see some quality numberslutting!

Yeah, I like waking up when it's light NOW but I know in another few weeks I'm going to be leaving the house and getting home in the dark, and that's just depressing.

Aw, that's a blast from the past, yay (numberslutting).
I like the light in the morning, but the early dark just makes me hunker down in general. Which, honestly, in this current environment of ours is kind of a default.
Three out of four of us quite enjoyed Frankenstein. I was one of the three. The outlier thought Dr. F actor (whose name is escaping me... Otto, Owen... Oscar!! But the last name is too much to ask) was overacting, but I thought the whole movie and his character in particular warranted that type of emotions-out-front acting, and they were mostly all playing it that way. For me, it worked quite well. Also, the cinematography and costuming were beautiful/stunning. It was longish, but I didn't get bored or antsy.
Huh. We have a movies thread don't we? Well, this was meant to be more of a "what I did last night" post, so...

True. I find that period right before we fall back when I have to get up in the dark and know that I wouldn't have to if it wasn't DST very frustrating, though! So that is relieved.
I am still trying to figure out if there is any sensible way for me to see Frankenstein. Like, if I go to the Fairfield office in the morning so I can walk through the outlet sale and perhaps shop, and then go to my usual Vallejo office in the afternoon, and then keep on going across the bridge to see a movie, is that ridiculous? Will I regret it Wednesday? Does that theater have good food options I could make be dinner? A lot of unknowns. I have a lot of faith in Guillermo del Toro making a movie I will enjoy, not really worried about that.
