Always Anti-fascist!

Nineteen was kind of struggle for me, but it was one of the ones that worked out in the end, so that was something. As opposed to now, where I feel like I struggle through to get strong enough to struggle. at least sometimes. I told myself I wasn't gonna work over those meetings with the social worker in my head anymore, and I won't, but it makes a story confusing when the social worker thinks "DUI" and "DIY" are the same thing.(Not to say there couldn't be some kind of "Y'all watch this,' sort of overlap, of course.) Nothing but the best for us, right?

Our wings are not tired.

19 was okay. I got married the first time and moved to Philly, which was cool. 21 was my least favorite of all time. 18 was good for voting and drinking in NY in 1972, so that was said and done. At 21 I was super broke, using boxes for furniture, and generally miserable. All I was thinking was that this being an adult thing was bullshit. FWIW, 35 was my favorite age. I've been perfectly fine with all the ages since then.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

19 was rock bottom for me. Because I was abused growing up, I was desperate to get out of the house. But because I was abused growing up, I was not equipped to function in the real world as an adult.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ah, but look at you now my dear...

You are a marvel.

Thrive to spite them

I didn't cancel Hulu because I didn't want to deal with with M's mom and her drama that would have happened. Although if I can get just ESPN unlimited I might convince her that is enough. And we have Prime because of football.

I've been watching Taskmaster on Pluto . Alsa they only have a few seasons and we are almost done. And I want more because Pimento from Brooklyn 99/Derek from The Good Place was on a season (or two maybe ?) and I've seen some clips and he is totally funny and unhinged. And I've also been watching The Great Canadian Bake Off on Roku channel .

I want to watch Murderbot but I'll wait until after football season and cancel some stuff.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Assata passed away today, at 79, in Cuba. My brain is full of words, but they all sound so hollow.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

All of Taskmaster is on YouTube.

Joe Jackson has the song Nineteen Forever so there is some musical love for the age there.

Always Anti-fascist!

I've heard your words, Karl. While I'm familiar with that sense of inadequacy, I'm sure the words only sound hollow to your own ears. Feel free to say what you want to say, though I think I mixed up this person with Tupac's mother Afeni, so I'm a bad revolutionary right now I don't cancel anything cause it's not my money, though maybe I use it a little less.
