The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Today was one of the worst migraines I’ve ever had. There weren’t any blackouts, but I woke up with a pain level of ten, and the only thing that’s knocked it below an eight is Tylenol with codeine. I’m so over this.

Oh, and yes, there’s a nationwide shortage of estradiol patches, and even with calling another pharmacy that had them in stock to have my prescription transferred to them, I haven’t gotten a “your prescription is ready” call or text. Betcha I’m not getting any, which is going to fuck me up.

Bodies are stupid.

Punishingly Intricate

Ugh I’m so sorry, Atropa. I *haven’t* had any issues getting estradiol patches from the locally-owned drugstore I go to, for what it’s worth, so that’s something you may want to check out if you get prescriptions from one of the big chains.

This too shall pass.

It is snowing here this morning! Like flurries coming down from the sky! Yes, I will be seaside by the end of the month.

Enjoy the vacation, Teppy! Packing lists are super essential.

Rest well, Sophia. Thank you for the update!

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

I hope you're doing well today, Sophia.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We have a high of 89 today, snow sounds kinda nice. Not going to the seaside for one’s health nice, but that’s a high bar.

{{{Atropa}}} I’m so sorry, that sounds awful and having to wait for a prescription to be filled is just argh

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Letting you know I am good, but very sleepy. More detail tomorrow

Excellent news! Heal up.

Barkeep! A round of estradiol for my friends!

{checks weather} It's going to be a blistering 78 today in San Francisco, with clear blue skies.

I cleaned the Guinea Pig cage and replaced my shower curtain in the last two days and I'm pretty sure I deserve an EGOT for that.

In lieu of which I'm going to eat a very fancy blackberry hazelnut Danish.

This too shall pass.

The boys won their soccer game in snow flurries. We had No Kings protesters in front of the school on the way! I am off to Old Forge for their protest at 2 today. They are only doing an hour because of the cold. I'll have pictures of us all bundled up later. I love the tiny community gatherings.

Back from the protest. We had 35 show up in the chilly town center. Full sunshine though so it was very pleasant.

Thought I was gonna do a virtual one, but I missed it.Which was kind of frustrating, but virtual protest doesn't feel the same anyway, so, whatever. Made some volunteer-finding calls for Dr. Shah, but nobody in Arizona picks up so...they didn't now, either.(See, this is where I feel like a failure as a crip as well as a Resistance fighter, because , while I do push through a lot and all that--Mom and I talked the other day about how we do stuff the hard, stubborn way even if we find an easier one, because it doesn't occur to us to find one cause sometimes there isn't) but, anyway, the part of winning out because I dig deep happens SO MUCH LESS than the mythology says it ought to, even if I did have special, inspiring skills to bring to the table. I usually don't even get that far. Which is kind of like I have one job, that I'm bad at, and maybe my deodorant doesn't work either. but that's not why I hate their AI assistants.

But I haven't vomited in a couple weeks now so things are a bit better even if I don't qualify for the Highway To Heaven reboot. ETA: That is still the most benignly ableist show I've ever seen...if I were going to give a presentation about discriminating without being actively mean, I'd use it. And I watched at all the time anyway, because at least it actively featured the halt and lame(And young helen Hunt dying of Leukemia that she could probably fake-survive now) The other rep was like, Cousin Geri and Arnold Jackson's big mouthed friend.
