I was just coming on here to complain I got my Covid and flu shots yesterday and not only does my arm hurt where I got the shots, my underarm/lymph nodes on that side are painful too. Ow!! I don’t wanna get sick but geez.

Last night I went to a two step dance with straight people (but had a good time dancing with the old retired men) and then met up with friends to see Hump, Dan Savage’s porn fest. I hadn’t been in years and years, and back in the day it was very “ooh it only happens one weekend so you can be a porn star without too much worry!” And now it’s a whole festival that travels around and is basically all onlyfans people trying to get new fans or be super freaky? I wasn’t very impressed, basically none of it was hot to me (I started thinking like “is sex even hot? Is sex this weird when I have sex? Why are bodies so strange?”). There were a couple funny ones though.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Now I am starting to worry about getting a Covid booster this year. What version did you all get? Pfizer? Moderna? Novavax? Other?

This too shall pass.

I won't get any vaccines until I get back to Florida. My PCP's office is sending texts about the flu shot, but last year and this year they haven't pushed the Covid shot for some reason.

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

I just checked my CVS record, and this year's Covid booster was Moderna for me (named "MNEXSPIKE," which sounds kind of badass). I feel less shitty today, and my arm feels basically normal.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Good morning. Chuck Wendig’s apple reviews are back!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have the house fully to myself for a week, as everyone else is in Arizona.
A little me-time could be good.

I feel fine other than my arm/underarm (like no fever/malaise/fatigue). Not sure if I got Pfizer or Moderna. Apparently they had both and she asked if I cared which and I said no, so she picked.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay apple reviews!

I got Pfizer most recently and didn’t have any problems, barely even a sore arm, but that was right before the new fall vax got released so probably not indicative of anything. I’ll try to get another in November

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Mine was the Pfizer, dcp. I don't recall my reaction being as strong with Moderna last year, but it could be the formulation for the year rather than the particular vaccine. Maybe RFK is having them add roadkill demi-glace to every batch?

At any rate I feel fine today, woke up with normal energy levels and just a hint of soreness left at the injection site.

Superpowers would be better.
