Good grief. Thirty and 20? Really? Really??!?!? Wow.

Doesn't shock me as much because half-brother Adam is the Goofus to Emmett's Gallant in my head and Goofus turned thirty in May--I guess I had sort of built up that they were born at, like, the exact same time, which is more like scientific research than real life, I guess. Didn't realize we shared a sign, though, me and your kids. Childhood BFF showed up in my inbox with wishes, which is cool and all that, but I had a rough few days and didn't get back to her. (Plus, she is kind of a lot in a Smartest Kid in Summer Enrichment kind of way that doesn't feel as cool now that we're, you know, Crips of A Certain Age) I want credit in the Book of Life because I didn't write back "Bitch, we talk maybe three times a year these days. Get over yourself!"because she *tracked me down* and did, like, the "so worried!1" thing(I've pulled that a lot myself, never realized how schticky it can feel--apologies.) If I had laughed at her like that, she would have literally sicced her mommy on me. our community is *so much fun*. it's too bad she's in the Bay Area and I'm not, but I have a paid off coffin, uh, I mean *condo*(One day I MUST stop making that mistake. Right?)

The only thing I would say to Sheryl and Nilly is that I don't talk to them as much as I would want, but that can't always be helped all the time, I know. So I'm not offended about it, but if I could change it I would, Karl, bringing so much love as always. thanks for that.

I had many vivid dreams last night, and at least one had a Buffista sighting, well almost anyway. Since I'm in NY for the summer, I arranged to meet up with Sophia Brooks because we are 1000 miles closer than usual. For reasons unknown, I went to a hotel lobby where she left a laptop at the front desk because she had to be elsewhere, and she left a message to contact her to coordinate. My phone was lost, and I was lost, and the laptop was a Mac, which I couldn't figure out how to use. So I couldn't reach her to figure out where she was. Eventually, a nice person at a bus stop lent me their phone, and I reached her, but by then it was late, and I had to find my car and get home.

When I woke up, I was annoyed with myself for not being able to figure out the laptop! I may primarily be a Windows girl, but I am quite well acquainted with several operating systems; thank you very much, brain.

I swear Emmett is still both Darth Tigger and just holding baby Matilda.

I have been having really strange dreams for months. Some unsettling.

I still haven't gotten my blood work done for HRT. The lab at my drs office was closed and I just didn't have the mental energy to figure out where else to go. Last week I didn't want to get out of bed for 2 days. I need to get this done.

I've also been a terrible aunt and never sent E a birthday present. I just couldnt find something I think he would love and I've barely talked to him.

Next week Dad is coming up to help Mom pack and unpack for her move. M and I are going over Mon and Tuesday since I have those days off and help pack. She mives Thursday so I won't be able to help with the unpack.
