That sounds really encouraging, askye.

Oh, it totally is, Hec. Of course, I know about the most fucked-up ones cause Mom was in title and mortgage all those years....ours was weird, too, but only cause I had the untrammelled credit at the time but not much income.
I just saw the sad news about Bridget. I only met her in person the once, but she will be missed all the same.
Happy birthday, Flea! Happy house-buying, Hec!
askye, my in-laws moved into an independent senior living place last year and they LOVE it.
I took my car in for its six-month checkup (I don't drive it enough to stretch visits out to 5k miles) and I'm starting to think this car might not be worth repairing any more. It's 13 years old and every time I take it in for an oil change/tire rotation they find something else that needs to be replaced, and I'm having to do the mental math of "what % of the car's trade-in value is this costing me." (This time the really spendy one was replacing the tire pressure sensors which would have come to almost $1000 and so I decided not to. I might see if Costco or somewhere else can replace them for less but I'm not going to spend a third of what this car is worth to get rid of an annoying blinky light.)
Many happy returns of the day, flea.
Hugs and love and solidarity to any and all of y'all who need support or just a wacky fannish friend.
always, bunkie.
Happy birthday, flea!
That’s great your Mom is looking at the senior living place, askye!
I have my 2nd knee replacement scheduled for 10/15. I’m a little anxious about turning back the recovery clock but will be glad when this is all over and, I hope, I can walk with ease again and I can join a real gym instead of just going to pt all the time. First knee seems to be doing pretty well anyway.
This time the really spendy one was replacing the tire pressure sensors which would have come to almost $1000 and so I decided not to.
I have that blinky light! And am having the same thoughts about if if it needs a pricy fix. I have a power block in the back of my car that can pump air in a pinch so I’m not super concerned about it.
Well I got the car back today and even though I declined the pressure sensor fix, the blinky light is off anyway! Either rotating the tires tricked the sensors into working again, or the guy just turned them all off for free.
Nice.
Is it weird that the word "beige" always makes me think of Angel's aura?
Holy hell, mom fell down the stairs, put a hole in the sheetrock with her head, took an ambulance to the hospital. On my way there now…
Dad called me as soon as he was in the waiting room with some time, good job Dad!
