So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is it wrong that I instantly mentally nicknamed your sister Barbenheimer? And that I want everyone else to do likewise? I mean, if it is wrong, just how wrong, really?

OMFG, that's perfect.

If that's wrong, I don't want to be right.

In a bright spot, today is the anniversary of the founding of the first Buffista board in 1997. Before my time, but I am so very grateful that it happened.

Thanks, Agnes!

EM just came by and we plowed through some paperwork, located my car registration folder and I gave her another box of books to sell at the used bookstore so I can free up more bookcase space for the books littering the floor in piles.

I'm off to Pilates despite my doctor's advice to avoid exercise for a week to keep from popping a stitch.

It's not really aerobic so there's no chance of a blood pressure spike and I'll just ask my teacher to focus on stuff where I don't have my head tipped down.

How can we save our little Plei

Hey, Bad Luck, you have the pointer stuck on Plei. Time to move it along to someone else—ideally a billionaire.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My bout with norovirus was thankfully brief, although I've stuck to bland food today. Hopefully it leaves me the hell alone.

Tim had his follow-up for the lung surgery today — the surgeon said his x-rays look perfect and he's recovering very well, so he'll start back to work next week on Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day). He'll do half days for that first week just to be sure he's all good, and then he'll go back to full time June 1. Yay lungs!

Yay, Tim! I’m glad he’s recovering well. Boo norovirus!

Our wings are not tired.

Good to hear Tim's healthy report.

I’m glad you’re both recovering, Steph.

I’m glad you’re both recovering, Steph.

I got a dental implant last week that is testing the definition of "recovering," though. It was just normal tender-sore until yesterday, when it became painpainpain. The whole gum area around it is extremely swollen, so I'm guessing it's a rogue infection. Fortunately my dentist can see me tomorrow morning, so whatever he has to do, including remove the implant, is fine with me, because OW.

This crumbling human body is falling apart at a hilariously rapid pace, sheesh.

Steph, that sounds miserable. I hope you get quick relief from the dentist.
