I am suffering the consequences of inadequate documentation -- I have 2 dentist appointments this week, one today and one Wednesday: one is for a crown fitting, and one is for a regular cleaning. I put them on the calendar on the correct days with the times, but not what the appointments are for. So I have an appointment in 40 minutes, and it's going to be like playing the lottery. Crown? Cleaning? Bet now!

Thanks tom! I’m not on bsky so didn’t know!
Thank you for checking in, Shir and Nilly.
Help me, b.org hivemind and talk me out of my anxiety. I let my boss know that I've had a migraine for six days straight and may drop off work after our 1:1. She said she was sorry to hear that, that my health was my top priority, and sent me the information links for leaves and accommodations and the contact info for the Leaves team.
The Brain Raccoons, of course, are aaaaaaaallllllll over this. What if asking for accommodations and/or changes in scheduled work hours is going to be used against me? OMG I can't lose this job; I'm 57 and technical writing/editing jobs are getting scarcer and scarcer. OMG I CAN'T LOSE THIS JOB BECAUSE OF FUCKING INSURANCE. Plus, of course, this is a brand new role for me (program manager) and I am beating myself up because I'm not immediately perfect at it and all-knowing. Soooooo fun.
I think that would be illegal, for them to use it against you, Jilli.(Not that that isn't a fight then, but you do have power and rights, is my point there.) Nobody is born knowing their new job, either. The Brain Raccoons talk a lot of shit.
