Great plan, dcp! We have 7-8 inches snow here and it’s been sleeting for a while. Bob is out shoveling like he likes to do but only after making us pancakes. We also had bacon and squeezed some orange juice. I’m in pjs my friend made me for Xmas and drinking coffee and kahlua. Can’t complain.
Wow Laura. Jealous.
Good plan dcp!
I was reminded by the friend who came over last night who lives way out in the burbs that being able to say “oh which bakery do you want to walk to” is a benefit of the city life.
We have about 9 inches of snow on the ground and it's still coming down. I think we should avoid sleet and ice, though, which is good.
Tim was supposed to have his follow-up PET scan tomorrow morning to see if confirm that the cancer is gone, but that definitely ain't happening. They were able to move the PET scan to Wednesday morning, which should be doable. And then we'll meet with the oncologists Wednesday afternoon to go over the ([damn well better be] excellent, spectacular) results.
I don't want to be reading about my friends slipping and falling on ice! Please be careful out there.
About nine or ten inches of snow, and still falling. Still have power (knock on wood), which I wasn't expecting. It'll probably be a long while before my street is plowed, but I don't need to go to campus until Tuesday.
Extra (insulated) bubble wrap for all my beloved Buffistas. Be careful out there, and take a buddy with you if you can.
Only a bit cold here today...we kind of welcome it. But this is our reward for July. (Pops a little bubble wrap)
The university finally announced they're closed tomorrow, after the county closed the roads to all non-emergency traffic.
We have bupkiss in the way of falling weather.
I woke up with body aches and a raging sore throat. Tylenol, hot tea, a blankee and a nap, toast and scrambled eggs and another nap, and I felt a lot better. I had yet another nap with another dose of Tylenol and I'm having naked toast and scrambled eggs again. By morning I should be all better.
Those of you upon whom weather is falling and freezing, be careful and may your heat, phones, power and so on be strong and steady.
