Congrats on the great timing, shrift!
After a rocky start the weekend finished up pretty good. I got assorted household chores done to make my place presentable by the time the Golden Globes started, including assembling a bamboo shelf stand to replace the rickety and bowed corner shelf I had in my living room. (Pictures to follow once I figure out placement and get display items moved onto it.) Also, after laundering bed linens I managed to fold a fitted sheet into something very like a rectangle and fit it and the rest of the set into the package a new set came in: [link]
(and holy wow, 17.5 years??)
I know, right?! How is such a thing even possible?
when I left my last job, the transition to COBRA was not smooth, and took longer than I expected, almost six weeks.
Thanks for the caution, dcp! I had a feeling that this was going to be a pain.
Wow, shrift, congrats!
I somehow drifted away from checking here, too, so: Hello! I still have my one job.
OMG, I just read Beep Me, and that is devastating to learn about Norah. I guess everyone else has already worked through it.
It's still pretty upsetting
yeah...I find things she commented on all the time and end up thinking it through again. Not like her nearest and dearest, of course.
Timelies all!
Congrats shrift!
Mr. S is getting discharged from the RTC on Friday and I'm a bit nervous about it. Doesn't help that he had a major meltdown last night(We did a Saturday to Monday visit because there was a visit to a potential non-public school, and a visit to the new public school scheduled for today) which involved him pulling my hair and throwing things at me.
