I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Got it, dcp, thank you! I think that probably makes two PDFs (maybe three) and one hardcopy that I have stashed various places, which should increase the chances of me actually being able to find one when I want it. This one is going into the obvious place where I look first...

It is not supposed to rain here until, like, 11 PM! We're under a flood watch and high wind advisory until Friday, so I was not expecting this.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

we're prob getting rain. I'm kind of glad...it's been too warm. Pleasant, yet kind of creepy at the same time, right?

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

cereal: and if you're thinking that describes both me AND the Phoenix suburbs from which I sprung in general, you're not fully wrong.

I was gonna demur that you aren't creepy, erika, but then I remembered that the Addams Family theme song says they are so in that sense, I guess we all are

Hey, our vending machine has Chex Mix! Not in 25-lb bags. That would not work well.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm in NJ now, mostly just hanging out and watching the snow. Trying to get some work done -- I need to record a bunch of new calculus videos before the new semester starts.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's 79 today in New Orleans.

Our wings are not tired.

Same here as New Orleans, but super windy with big waves out there.

I need to make a correction, Italian Delight is *not* from I Hate to Cook, it’s just something my grandmother (who was not Italian, Grandpa was) made. My mom thinks she clipped the recipe out of a magazine. They ate it very often when mom was a kid. I learned to make it off the index card my mom had copied the recipe to.

It’s a little different from your recipe, dcp. Not sure if that’s because my grandmother’s recipe was different or because my mom changed it before she wrote her copy

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Recipes are just guidelines....

I am fond of the Justin Wilson quote: "What do you put in it? Whatever you got."
