cereal: and if you're thinking that describes both me AND the Phoenix suburbs from which I sprung in general, you're not fully wrong.

Natter 78: I might need to watch some Buffy for inspiration
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was gonna demur that you aren't creepy, erika, but then I remembered that the Addams Family theme song says they are so in that sense, I guess we all are
Hey, our vending machine has Chex Mix! Not in 25-lb bags. That would not work well.
I'm in NJ now, mostly just hanging out and watching the snow. Trying to get some work done -- I need to record a bunch of new calculus videos before the new semester starts.
It's 79 today in New Orleans.
Same here as New Orleans, but super windy with big waves out there.
I need to make a correction, Italian Delight is *not* from I Hate to Cook, it’s just something my grandmother (who was not Italian, Grandpa was) made. My mom thinks she clipped the recipe out of a magazine. They ate it very often when mom was a kid. I learned to make it off the index card my mom had copied the recipe to.
It’s a little different from your recipe, dcp. Not sure if that’s because my grandmother’s recipe was different or because my mom changed it before she wrote her copy
Recipes are just guidelines....

Happy holidays, Buffistas!
Same to you, Shir!
Hi, Shir! Same to you.
My dog just scammed a second dinner out of me! I came home about a half hour later than her dinner time, and I fleetingly thought that I should check to see whether Matt had fed her, but I was all, "Nah, his back is hurting, he's sick... he wouldn't have trudged downstairs..."
In fact, he did.
Nice fake out, Birdie; you acted just as over the top excited for your food as usual. Good one.
