I'm so sorry, Nilly. My condolences and love to you and your family.

Thanks for letting us know, Shir.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

So sorry, Nilly. I'm pretty angry that a lady that I phonebank with, who's disabled and already in assisted living went to a Thanksgiving thing there and got fucking *food poisoning* or something from the buffet. They had *one* job, you know? Beverly works so hard and doesn't get a lot of breaks. Sounds like she'll be all right, but REALLY?! Fuckers.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Shir, thank you for letting us know; please give Nilly our condolences and love and as many hugs as she wants when you see her next.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry for your loss, Nilly.

This weekend was not so great. Gary picked up Mr. S Thursday morning. We had Thanksgiving dinner with my MIL, which was fine, although Mr. S barely looked from Gary's phone(the Switch was unavailable) the whole time. Mr. S had a meltdown Friday night, though Gary was able to calm him down. Last night he had a major meltdown and ended up in the ER. He woke us up in the middle of the night because he had barfed. Sigh...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I’m sorry, Nilly.

Today has been pretty low-key. We had the first real snow of the season overnight, so today I did a lot of reading next to my Christmas tree and occasionally glancing through the branches to the white-dusted trees outside.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Nilly, I'm sorry for your loss. May your mother's memory be a blessing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh Nilly, I'm so sorry. Peace and strength to you and your family.

Condolences to Nilly.

Java, hello! Maybe next time I come to Hartford I can also see you!

I am so tired. I drove all day yesterday. Slept awfully last night (hotel was loud, dog kept being startled, etc). Drove a bunch of hours today and then got to see some old friends in Sacramento, briefly—I wish they were better at keeping up with people! And then drove some more. Tonight’s hotel is much nicer than last nights…except the wifi is not working and my cell signal is quite spotty. Booooo! Tomorrow, more driving. But then no driving for a month.
