The dress code for the Vampire Lestat concert & afterparty tonight is "rock chic" which I'll just assume was meant to say "glam punk" and which I will do my best to achieve as a person who does not even own eyeliner. (The feeling of anything on my face that isn't an ultralight moisturizer makes my skin crawl and so makeup is a complete no-go and always has been.)
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That sounds like fun, Jess! I’m sure you look fabulous.
ltc has to wear her costume again today to present in front of the other classes. She’s unhappy because the wig is itchy.

I am far from being glam or punk, but I still think you can achieve glam punk through your clothes and general demeanor, no makeup required. (And really, can you even be glam if your skin isn't well hydrated?)
It also has to be an outfit I can comfortably sit in for two hours (concert + screening) and walk through midtown NYC wearing at 7pm on a Tuesday. (So maaaaaaaaybe not the leather corset? But also maybe yes the leather corset?)
(And honestly, is there any time of day less punk than 7pm on a Tuesday? The real Lestat would never.)

Truer words have never been spoken.
Say yes to the corset. If it is sufficiently comfortable.
I feel like 7pm on a Tuesday can be punk, but can't be glam.
Not that I know, but this is also my instinct.
But also maybe yes the leather corset?
Maybe yes, indeed.

I feel this in my bones. I love the concept.of wigs, but, wow, I cannot stand to have them on my head. The itch and the hot. But I also cut tags out of almost all my clothes, so, you know, not surprising. A shame though, because I think they're fun.

What did you decide to wear, Jess?!? And what did you do with your hair, anything? It's pretty rock chic on the daily...
