I need to sand a wall and prime it, and wash another wall and prime it. I even have two children who might be old enough to help. The don' wanna is strong today, though. Maybe I'll have a cup of coffee.

Did I mention this is the dining room where I am hosting my in-laws tomorrow? I wanted to have it done by Thanksgiving, but that's not an option at this point.

That sounds pretty ambitious. Coffee sounds like a good call.

Since it was dead at work today I upgraded my OS to El Capitan and cleaned my desk while the computer was occupied. No longer in danger of being the victim of a paperlanche.

Matilda and I have not changed into outside clothes yet. She spent the morning on her iPad and has switched to reheated pizza for lunch and Bob's Burgers. Ambition levels set to Megafauna Sloth.

Coffee is definitely a good plan.

I did a tiny bit of work, but am now doing laundry and figuring out what else I need to buy for Thanksgiving food. Annoyed at myself that I bought celery but forgot to put it in the fridge and so it went bad. Add that to the list...

And I sat down to look SOMETHING up on line and have no idea what it was, now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My staff went home early, but now I'm working. I think the thing I have to do really isn't going to take much more than an hour, though, which is good.

Nursing Home Thanksgiving was pretty good! Although someone tried to start a political discussion. Which, nope. We had a great table, though, which had me all excited for like an hour. (Last year we had to stay in the regular dining room on my father's ward.) And the food was good as usual, if cold as usual.

Agree that passwords are bullshit, the cloud is too risky, and flea is very ambitious!

Our wings are not tired.

So I am making T'day food stuffs for DH (no carbing it), me and my friend (vegan), and the boys, and whoever else shows up. This is super last moment so I still have a few things to pick up from the store. I kind of have a plan, but it seems to be missing something.

So far: Turkey, Vegan sweet potato shepherds pie (w/ edamame, spinach, shroons, and stuff), Carrot/Ginger soup, Pear & Wild rice stuffing, Roasted Brussels sprouts, Curried califlower, Green beans w/ sauteed mushrooms, Cranberry sauce w/ pecans and pineapple, Rolls of some kind because son won't eat anything but turkey above

eta: commas since I am too brain dead to make a list apparently

Mmm, Laura's food stuffs sound good.

I need to make whipped coconut cream for tomorrow. I think that's all? Huh. We're reheating one vegan dinner for two and one "healthy eating" dinner for two from Whole Foods tomorrow, to feed three of us. I'll bring the stuffed turkey breast with me, also, in case we decide we want that, but I don't have to do anything to it except stick it in a bag and transport it. Oh, should probably bring wine, too, I have a bottle or two that i haven't opened because I think I'd like to drink them with my parents, this might be a good time for that.

meara, is the celery, like, rotten or just wilted? You can perk it up if it's wilted by sticking it in ice water for a while.

Oh, hey, time to go home. Woohoo!
