But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

For those arguing about refugees, it may be worth pointing that Anne Frank's family tried to emigrate to both the USA and England and were turned down and denied refuge in both nations.

I've had this discussion. Generally, the answer will be that we were wrong to turn her family away then, but we're right to turn Syrians away now, because Syrians are actually dangerous. "That's the same thing they said back then" doesn't seem to convince anyone.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm in the Detroit airport hoping my plan shows up eventually. It's snowing a lot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Pix!

I am not entirely following Scandal. How did Jake know Lazarus wasn't Eli's?

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

It's snowing a lot.

Good luck! My mom sent me a picture of their yard and said they might get another 8 inches tonight, but at least they're on the opposite side of the state?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

-t, wrt Scandal I'm not sure. I missed it too, but I'm really hoping that we're completely and totally done with Fitz/Olivia. I can't stand Fitz.

Thanks! Yeah, we sat on the tarmac for more than an hour and got a double de-icing before we took off. It was snowing hard. Finally in the air and able to use my wifi again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My little cousin's play was a 45 minute version of The Jungle Book. The director of the local theater really goes back and forth on timing -- apparently the show we didn't go to last year was like 3 hours long! So that was fun enough, and then my mother took me out to dinner.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I tend to think shorter is better when it comes to children's theater, but it suddenly occurs to me that perhaps this wasn't children's theater, just theater with child actors in it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, this was fully children's theater.
