Alrighty, all packed and set to go. Even remembered to pay the dentist before I leave.

Woohoo, sarameg!

Just lost power, we are apparently on generator now. I am reluctant to start doing anything too involved in case it goes down again...

I was woken by my neighbor's rooster. Who was very crow-y this morning. He assured me last week he was sending it to a farm. Grrr. Also dislike: 26 day cycle.

On the plus side I have not spilled my coffee, like -t. And I have an individual panettone from TJs for breakfast?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Someone remind me that throwing facts at a jerk posting on my mother's FB is probably not a good idea. My mother has it in hand.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Let it go.

I totally couldn't fall asleep when I got home last night, so was up until after 1am. Work is suffering, I feel if I take a long blink, I will be asleep. And the headache is back in full force. I've lost track of how many days now.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

JZ, I am very sorry for your loss, and very glad that you were able to be thaere for that family. How heart-breaking.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was woken by my neighbor's rooster.

I'm sorry, but that made me laugh!

Also: My coworker just told me a story about someone asking if a random chicken walking nearby was her chicken, and that ALSO made me laugh!

That sounds like a children's book. Are You My Chicken?

Our power has been confirmed as restored, btw, so I have no more excuses for not working, alas.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My coworker just told me a story about someone asking if a random chicken walking nearby was her chicken

Someone posted a picture of ducks on a sidewalk on our neighborhood bulletin board with the subject line "Do I Have Your Ducks?" (They had apparently wandered away, as they are wont to do, and liked the person's yard.)
