DH's CT went ok - nothing really alarming... except that this means he has to get the next level up test. Which he's not looking forward to. The mystery continues.
I gave a guest lecture today an hour away, but that meant I had the 'no alien babies spotted' text before I walked into the classroom. Blue confetti status still pending.
SO DAMN TIRED. And major writing work this weekend when really I want to go to Bali or San Francisco or Baltimore or something and sit by the water.
24 hours later and I'm back sitting in on rehearsal again. I have two swing by Universal again tonight after I'm done here.
ION I don't want to jinx anything, but if everything goes the way it is looking after the meeting I had this week my little company may have booked more work in the first 4 months of next year that we did in ALL of 2015, and it's all new contracts.

I made cardamom-molasses cookies for yesterday's office potluck and had leftover cardamom-infused sugar. So I put it in my coffee this morning. It does not suck.
Coffee and toast: So, I'm thinking of trying Nanowrimo this year. Is anyone else dong it? Do we discuss it in the writing thread?
I have acquired a blimp white pumpkin. Now to fashion a harness for it.And clean off my porch since I'll be sitting out there all evening. But first, Target run.

To save a click, part of the process involves putting five cardamom pods and half a cup of sugar in a closed jar for 4-5 days. You use that sugar for dipping the cookie dough balls before baking, but there's lots left over. I made two batches with the half-cup and still have more than half of it left. Seemed a shame to waste it.
