Yes, you have a consistency and a focus that I do not.
Consistency is a necessity because the moment I move to a non-daily schedule I stop all together. It's all or nothing. I do it every day or not at all.
I bought two pounds of cheese (woops!). Holy Cow [link] cheese, Whiksy Cheddar: [link] Sartori Cheese with Espresso [link] and TJs version of Dragon Cheddar [link] NOM NOM NOM!
So, tomorrow, the annual boobsmash now has a bonus ultrasound on the side to look at why the rest of my bits are staging revolution yet again. I am about to climb out of my skin with nerves, and am so sick of this, so if I haven't used up all the ~ma from the DH stuff, I could really use some "nothing too scary or terrible, but just enough so I can trade this thing in for a jetpack" ~ma. Signed, (TMI) already eyeing 6-week recovery windows with some gusto.
I climbed a mountain yesterday and saw the 7th highest lake in the US. Fortunately, we got a ride back down the mountain. Unfortunately, it came with a nice dose of Family Awkwardness Because Grandpa's A Creationist.
Now I want cheese, despite getting excellent doughnuts this morning. Like, really amazing, especially the Creme Brule one that was legit crunchy on top.
Wait, there's a "trade it in for a jetpack" option? Dude. Want! Particularly given the cramps I was having yesterday.
Mmm, cheese sounds nice too.
Just met one of the mayoral candidates! One that I might actually vote for, we'll see. But honest to god, door to door, introducing himself.
Sarameg, was it Mike?
Thanks, Sheryl
Good luck, Sox. On Wednesday I go in for a biopsy, which is by itself unpleasant enough, but will also tell me whether I have to have all my bits removed. JOY. And this at a time when I'm actually in negative numbers on my sick leave, because of all the time I had to take off to deal with Dad. God help me if I have to spend my vacation on recovering from surgery.
In other news, I walked the dog, started some bread, and visited Dad. Now I need to do laundry, pay bills, shape the bread, and start on a tarte tatin, which I decided I had to make after seeing it on GBBO. What's not to love about apples, caramel, and pastry? Of course, I don't have any puff pastry and don't have the time to make it, so I'm going to use a regular pie crust I had in the freezer. Hopefully that will work.

I totally hope you get a jetpack!
TJs had a new gluten-free cookie: the same base dough as chocolate chip cookies, but instead of chocolate chips, the cookies have caramelized ginger pieces. I have already tried them, and they are good. I also got these chocolate Easter egg dealies, but have not tried them yet: [link]
No dog pictures yet, unless they're up on Facebook. Will check there next.
