Dig it, Scrappy! We think you're awesome, and I bet you can be awesome at it!
I was reminded of the "carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man" a few minutes ago when a dude got in the hotel elevator wearing his undershirt, boxers, and no shoes. Wtf dude. Didn't look one bit embarrassed.
Also, my potential gallbladder pain is gone. Or at least, not there anymore. It maybe moved. Or maybe is a different pain possibly caused by eating way too much candy on my flight. Um.
Go for it, Scrappy!
sara, will it show up on YouTube, maybe?
I'm supposed to start a Tai Chi class tomorrow and I don't wanna. Ugh. Doing things for my own good.
Go, Scrappy, Go!
I hope you work roller skating and Buffy into your act.
My family is a telenovela.
Roughly 36 hours after mom has died and I had a phone call with my sister where she was melting down about her need to get everything, so that she can pay off debt on Mom's house, that she now considers her house and that I just need to sign all of it over to her.
At least I think that's what it was, there was a lot of crying and panic, and other things.
Am I surprised? Not really.
I was hopeful that I would be able to wait at least a few days before I called mom's financial advisor to find out what's the process on things, but I guess that's tomorrow, and then I suppose it's time to hire a lawyer.
Sigh.
Oh, Drew, I'm so sorry. That's terrible.
I'll be in a Tai Chi class tomorrow, Zen. Wherein I expect to realize that I have forgotten more than I expected since last week but maybe remember that that's okay, also. I hope you like it.
Ugh, ND. I feel you. I recommend you apply brown spirits if the shit starts to get oppressive.
I couldn't go to Tai Chi today but I should be able to get in a bonus class on Sunday. Also so happy to see so many folks starting up Tai Chi. Makes it feel more fun that we're doing it together.

I'm sorry about your mom, ND. I'm also sorry that this is happening, since my family has squabbled over estates and I know how fraught it can be. I do think a lawyer is a good idea, especially if you are an executor.
Oh jeez, ND. Good luck with that.
I've got to got my shit together, work-wise and probably otherwise as well. I'm just not being effective at work, and certainly not doing much outside of work. Maybe I should take a stand-up class!
