This is hilarious. She's supposed to be scolding me for not completing stuff, and she's forgotten what she's talking about. She's having to stop and look it up.

Did you? Drop the complaint? I ask because one of my mail carriers is on the verge of getting a written complaint from me, but I'm not sure how far I want to take it.
Oh hell no. It was a months-long pattern of damaging my mail in a fashion that very clearly wasn't accidental. If the postmaster had asked for mercy on behalf of an employee of good character I might have caved, but the way it went down made me even more uncomfortable about her maybe getting stalkery.
My upstairs neighbor was going to send a letter in about our delivery guy on Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.
Got my performance review today. Despite fantastic review comments and my boss putting me up for Performing Plus, management a couple of levels up bumped everyone in our group down to Performing. Which isn't bad, but it means when we get our raises, they will be the average amount. My boss is so frustrated. As am I. He won't know our actual raise percentages for another month or so - they aren't effective until April 1st.
The inability to psychologically intimidate my co-workers hampers my ability to get shit done.
Work on convincing them you have occult powers. It's working for me.
I had either forgotten or did not know that Jondalar and Ayla from Clan of the Cave Bear had a daughter named Jonayla.
Oh, right. That was somewhere in the back of my brain.
Despite getting an excellent review, I got bumped down from Superior to Commendable. And I know why, but I didn't discuss it with BossLady. I've been dealing with severe anxiety for about five months. It's all I could do to hold it together enough to finish my actual work, never mind the work they gave us from the temps they let go. I did a good job with my job, but not up to my normal standards, and the "stretch goals" projects got half-done. So my anxiety cost me about $1500 in raise I don't get. It's frustrating.
(I hate the whole concept of stretch goals. Fuck you, I'm stretching to my limit just to keep up with my actual work. Why isn't doing my job well enough to get a decent raise? Projects I'm actually meant to do outside of normal work hours, that affect my raise? that's BS.)

And if you meet your stretch goals, that becomes the new "normal."
Exactly, Dana. If the mule carries the extra load, that becomes his normal load. Then they add more. If the mule falls down under the load, they tell him he's not a team player and shoot him.
