Yikes, Burrell

I signed up with Nextdoor last night and very few of my neighbors are on it. Will see how it all goes.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The carrier later left a message on my answering machine begging me to drop the complaint, so I'm pretty sure I at least got her put on some sort of probation with the USPS.

Did you? Drop the complaint? I ask because one of my mail carriers is on the verge of getting a written complaint from me, but I'm not sure how far I want to take it.

Nextdoor has been disappointing for me. None of my immediate neighbors are on it. It lumps my little neighborhood in with the rich people on the mountain behind us and the other working-class neighborhood on the other side of the highway, so half the group doesn't know the other half. Mostly what's posted is stuff for sale, handyman recs, and the occasional lost pet notice.

IT has taken my work software off line for the rest of the weekend for an upgrade. And there goes the last chance I had of squeaking under this deadline. We probably weren't going to make it anyway. I'm sure this is my fault. After all, I didn't get started a month ago. I only got started two weeks ago! On creating four one-page documents, consisting mostly of existing graphics and C&P text. Sorry, it didn't occur to me that that would take more than two weeks to do. If I could have done them myself, they would have been done, but no, we outsource everything now! For efficiency!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I stand with Dana. Today should be over. Even though it started out ok and my dr wrote me script for anti-anxiety med and confirmed I have lost a few lbs since Nov. I came into a shitstorm at work which has spiraled into an anxiety attack and I am yelling at ppl.

Tomorrow though, tomorrow I see Daisy Jane and that will be better.

Snow squall and all the locals on my fb & tl are losing their shit. Pretty sure I heard all parents of school kids start screaming....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I wish I could yell at people. If I were still in the office I could go loom over peoples' desks until they caved and gave me what I need. Except most of the people who work for me now are in another country, so I still couldn't loom.

The inability to psychologically intimidate my co-workers hampers my ability to get shit done.

I also am signed up for Nextdoor but mostly ignore it.

carrier later left a message on my answering machine begging me to drop the complaint, so I'm pretty sure I at least got her put on some sort of probation with the USPS.

Well that's good at least! I get annoyed that our mail half time time ends up in our mailbox SOAKING WET. I recognize that this is Seattle and it rains but there's no reason that the bottom half of all the envelopes in there should look like it was in a bucket of water. Makes it hard to read bills, makes cards useless, checks difficult...ugh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Right there with Dana and msbelle. I have no specific reason why.

Last time I looked at NextDoor there really wasn't anything in my area.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh, it looks like Nextdoor is one of those sites where you need to sign up before you can take a look and see if you might want to sign up for it? That's probably what stopped me from checking it out last time I thought about it since it's what's stopping me this time.

I should think about doing something today, right? Sheesh

We are about to do my performance evaluation over the phone. Lucky for me she can't see my face.
