So turns out I like not working more than working. Also I like seeing friends multiple days in a row more than not seeing friends for just one day.

Som meeting number 1 is done and faster than usual because my project manager hasn't made an appearance yet. So I have a long list of questions for him from the first meeting, which means we will have to call the task manager back and go through things a second time. Not on.

I have a break before my next meeting. Normally I would go out for lunch, but right now I don't want to go anywhere. My knee hurts, my feet hurt, and I just don't want to chance anything else special happening.

I keep having visions of someone breaking into my car for my phone. I just don't want to think about it.

In happier making news, CJ starts the Fire Academy on Thursday. This is part of his fire science degree, but it is the heart and soul of what he wants to do. His level of excitement is through the roof. I just hope he applies that excitement to the actual work involved. Before I left, he made sure I'd be home Thursday morning to see him off to school. He may be 19, but it is still nice when he makes me feel needed.

These are good things to know about oneself, msbelle. And I agree,

Project Manager just redeemed himself a bit. E-mailed that he is on his way in and offered to bring me lunch. I haven't told him about my horrible, no good, bad morning.

Suzi, is there anyone who can retrieve your phone for you? I'm sorry you're having such a terrible day.

Ltc is down for nap #2 in her crib today. This time she was exhausted and cranky and didn't fight it at all. This means I should either take the time to read or take a shower, but I'm exhausted and cranky too. So I'm going to nap as well.

Suzi, I hope your day gets better, your co-workers continue to improve, and your feet stop hurting.

Rebecca, I also like not working better than working! We have so much in common!

I wish my boss would put as much energy into helping me when I ask for help, as she puts into escalating simple questions that then never get answered.

I already had cut back at cute overload when the comment system changed, and it seemed like there was not as much conversation in the comments, but still, I think I have been there every day for 10 years. I even learned about my second favorite cute blog, the itty bitty citty committee on Cute overload.
