Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Why would someone wear this? Why? Did she lose a bet? A bet with Satan?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I found I also prefer not working to working. We all have something in common.

Thanks for the link, Dana- that is somewhat helpful! I already had cut back at cute overload when the comment system changed, and it seemed like there was not as much conversation in the comments, but still, I think I have been there every day for 10 years. I even learned about my second favorite cute blog, the itty bitty citty committee on Cute overload.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Why would someone wear this? Why? Did she lose a bet? A bet with Satan?

That's not gonna become a trend.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Did she lose a bet? A bet with Satan?

Sweet fancy Moses.

I am still cold, wet, and angry, but at least I'm almost at the office. I have dry shoes at my desk, and I shouldn't need to reschedule any meetings.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Why would someone wear this?

What the???

The one time I was on worker's comp disability and was being paid to not work, tax free...I could definitely see why some people game that system.

I fly home tomorrow evening, so having one of the kids drive out to the airport seems excessive. Will see what happens tomorrow.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I almost kind of like the idea? As an abstract experiment in what clothing can be. Like, some genius could maybe tweak it into actually being fabulous, even.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Suzi -- that was a hell of a morning. I hope the rest of the day is better.

FWIW, I am also interested in not working and seeing friends.

However, my workday so far has been a big meeting that went well, and a side meeting after the big meeting. Next I have two more meetings, so I think I'm just going to waste the next 35 minutes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That makes sense. I think it belongs on the runway but not on the red carpet.

It looks like it is more tea for me rather than a nap. ltc only slept for about 20 minutes and then woke up needing a diaper change. I couldn't get her to go back to sleep. I'm trying not to get her up from the crib until she has at least slept a little bit, which she did. So, she's in the swing now.

Librarian Warlord

Someone in comments on the Capital Weather Gang just suggested Friday's storm snowstorm with coastal flooding be nicknamed "Snow v. Wade." HeeHee.

There is a faculty meeting here on Friday that could get ugly, so if the U. closes, I won't cry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband had a phone interview at 1. It's either going well, or it went badly and he won't call to tell me, or he called someone else to talk it over.
