Is it wrong that I think those Frugaltwerps are kinda cheating by deducting their mortgage payment from their monthly expenses?
Which okay, speaking of not frugal, I took a walk today with my son to go to a local cafe and pick up some fancy juices. Walk was nice, juice was delicious, but I always find the price tag a bit baffling. How can fresh pressed juices be so much money?! Although it's kind of worth it to get my son to go on a 45 minute walk.

Because people will pay that price for them.
Connie nails the capitalist system.
I got my bread made last night: it came out nice. Overslept, ran in the woods with the dog and got very muddy, but got home before the rain started. Now I should be doing paperwork, argh. And I was going to run errands but I'm kind of broke...
It is kind of a lot of work, and takes a surpassing quantity of fruit/glass, when I squeeze my own.

ION, I have over 5 weeks of vacation now. And work has a policy of no more than a week off at any time. I see several three-day weekends in my future.
Yeah, I was given a juicer by a friend, and I loved it, but it was indeed a lot of work and I didn't get into enough of a habit with it. I should try again.
So, bread! Sourdough. How does one go about making that? Because I tried the once, and then the mother came to life (well, more to life) and took over my fridge and then I killed it and quit trying. But I'm buying sourdough and the seems sad to me and also not as tasty.
I totally bought bread and milk (cashew milk, anyway) before the last storm. And then the boy hauling the carts in approached me to see if I wanted this huge amount of toilet paper and paper towels that someone had bought in bulk and apparently abandoned in the parking lot. So I literally came home with all the storm staples. And it snowed for, like, five days, so that was good.
I'm sorry it's so rough, Gud. I'm glad you can vent here, because you don't deserve all that.

I would imagine that providing a kid with a doll like that would lead to terrified sobbing every time another tooth of theirs started to loosen.
