Hope things calm down a bit for you, Tommy.
All your sleep are belong to me. I was so drowsy last night I barely made it through American Horror Story, then slept for 9 hours, woke up, and slept for another hour and 15 minutes. Also had a dream about Chris Hemsworth breaking up with me. No fair, subconscious, making me go through that without first dreaming about sex with Chris Hemsworth!

That is brutal.
Tommyrot, maybe going home is the right call? Sometimes you just need a break.
Glad to hear that, Sara! Of course they want to keep you, come hell or high water. I'm sorry you're not feeling well for the next five days.
ION, I'm thinking about getting my aunts some kind of cat furniture for Christmas. I figure, they have three cats, so doesn't that mean they could always use more cat stuff?? Anyway, does anyone have a specific recommendation for anything that costs $50-$75? I started looking at stuff on Amazon, but basically anything I clicked had reviews that said it was only good for tiny kittens.
An hour is totally reasonable.
Costco has a six foot cat tree for about that much. ETA - okay, probably not that big. But maybe 5.
I'm looking at previous Ask a Manager entries, and someone wrote in whose company played an April Fool's Day prank on the employees and told them they'd have to come in and work unscheduled overtime that night and the next day.
I hate so, so many people.

I got a window ledge thing for my cats that they love. They get the high ground on the dog AND they can bathe in the direct sunlight from the window. Bonus, it doesn't take up floor space.
I have decided that a sourdough cheeseburger will help me feel better.
Eta: And a diet cherry-vanilla Coke.
The sun is out and drying the roads! Yay! There can be three feet of snow in my yard, but I don't care if the roads are clear.
I swore I wouldn't buy a house with a north-facing driveway. And yet where do I live? The other side of the cul-de-sac is all nice and clear, my side is a MESS.
