I'm looking at previous Ask a Manager entries, and someone wrote in whose company played an April Fool's Day prank on the employees and told them they'd have to come in and work unscheduled overtime that night and the next day.
I hate so, so many people.
does anyone have a specific recommendation for anything that costs $50-$75?
I got a window ledge thing for my cats that they love. They get the high ground on the dog AND they can bathe in the direct sunlight from the window. Bonus, it doesn't take up floor space.
I have decided that a sourdough cheeseburger will help me feel better.
Eta: And a diet cherry-vanilla Coke.
The sun is out and drying the roads! Yay! There can be three feet of snow in my yard, but I don't care if the roads are clear.

The window ledge cat thing is great! I need to put Pixie's back up. I figure cardboard cat houses/posts/whatever are a good call because (a)cats love cardboard boxes and (b) you can toss it in with the recycling when they get tired of it or destroy it.
In really funny news, I came home and now can't get to any work domains. I think they're down.
