I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I should get up. Mac and I did nothing together for gotcha day yesterday, I suggested going out for breakfast and he will not. I am sure he'd eat anything I wanted to cook up on the pan cake/waffle spectrum, but I don't wanna. Bed is warm.

Also have not done any decorating which depresses me. I want it done, just energy to do it. I really just need to start pretending that I live alone and I don't think these things would bother me so much.

We do have a 5k today at 3 with my mother, so at some point I need to get up and have food.

hip deep in pie

OMG, Hazel hates the vet. Haaates. Like, hissing before she's even done anything!

Oz requires about a half hour in the examine room beforehand to have a total meltdown and recover. Even then, he hisses through most of the exam.

Aw, msbelle, that sounds tough. I hope you enjoy the 5k with your mom.

And I hope John Waters enjoyed the Slutcracker!

an ice sphere mold for whiskey...shaped like the Death Star.

I have one of those. Well, not specifically for whiskey, but Death Star ice mold. It's nifty. All the Death Star detail melts away, of course, pretty much as soon as you pour anything over the ice, but you know it's there. And it works as a jello mold.

I guess I'm not going to the 8 am class at my gym I was considering. Oops.

I compromised with a one hr nap under cats and then did my Towson run. Still need to go to the hardware store, but maybe this evening. There's a lot else I should do, but ...

I got dressed and ready to leave the house to go to work, but now I am stalled. Oops

I have checked in for my international flight! Now I need to get dressed and run errands and buy more Christmas presents. And then, like, pack a suitcase.

I decided to try working at home, and it seems to be working, so now I am going to walk over to Costco and then come home and keep trying.

It makes sense to me, at least.

Our wings are not tired.

I wonder why I have a Costco membership at times. About 3/4 of the times I attempt to go there I take one look at the parking lot and drive away. I really should go, but I just can't. After talking on the phone, shopping is my least favorite thing. And shopping at Costco, the worst. And yet, they have stuff I want.

I feel you, Laura. I like shopping at Costco better than shopping at Walmart, but yeah. Otoh, I feel like one big shop at Costco means more time before I have to go shopping at all, so maybe that's worth it? But I don't have a membership right now. One of the things I need to figure out as I get my household supply chain in order. It's pretty inefficient now, I suspect, definitely in need of review.

Reasonable, Lee. If you include the time driving into work and back, and the time making yourself get ready to leave, working at home might be the best use of your time anyhow.
