This won't make national news, not like the Columbia Mall. Nevermind it is a fairly stable residential street on the cusp, nevermind it is #19 or 20 since Jan 1. It's just Baltimore.

When TAL did the series on the high school in Chicago, I went google-touristing. And so many of those blocks I traversed, yeah, they looked like these blocks of Baltimore. Not the bombed out devastation of N. Monroe and many other areas, but worn but still somewhat tended older family homes. Written off at ChIraq, or Baltimore City.
I don't even know.

My neighborhood is fighting SO HARD in the face of gangs and shootings and drug deals that take place in broad daylight. There's so much good in my neighborhood, and so much deep, systemic damage.
