Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Well, what's left of it, anyway.
There are other comic book fonts that look MUCH better than comic sans.
I don't know, personally Anime Ace 2 is the only one of those I'd pick over Comic Sans. Smack Attack is my go-to comic book font.
Absolutely everything you need to know about the Papal elections.
The heavy favorite is Angelo Scola, the 71-year-old archbishop of Milan.
Yay!
He would be a culturally conservative pick, having written a whole book lambasting feminism and, according to reviewer Luke Timothy Johnson, associating homosexuality with “nihilism and narcissism.” The argument, Johnson surmises, is that “feminism is responsible for homosexuality, because the more women act like men, the more men are likely to want to have sex with other men.”
Oh. Ew. Sorry.
I think that most of us are just sort of generally tempted to lick Teppy.
Hmmm, I wonder if this is more ok than hugs?

Yes, this. I have more than enough conspiracy theorists and other wackos IRL to deal with. So grateful for the refuge.

I initially read this as "He would be a culturally conservative prick" and now, having read the rest, I'm not inclined to think I was wrong.
no. is it me, or do they pick the same guy over and over more than Emmy voters? Maybe we could do a crossover and have Pope Kelsey Grammer?
I still haven't filled out my Papal Madness brackets.

... that's insane troll logic.
So Dad called me at 10:30 last night, and said that he can't move Mom without assistance anymore. Which I knew, having seen them on Sunday, but apparently she'd gotten worse just in the last 24 hours.
Happily, I had already been talking to the facility staff to plan what we need to do. And Dad has a button to push to get help when he needs it, while we figure that out.
But I was up all night anyway, laying awake and periodically listening to an audiobook on theology, which usually does a great job of knocking me out. Not last night, though. Argh.

Doesn't anyone think about the lesbians?
