I honestly don't understand the Comic Sans hatred. Used for the purpose it was intended to, it's a good solution.
Well, the problem is that people don't use it where it was intended. And actually, the article that Jess linked to galls me a little, because if the designer copied actual comic book lettering, he did a really bad job of it. There are other comic book fonts that look MUCH better than comic sans.

One of my cousins in Florida is a full on conspiracy theorist. Thankfully I only hear about it through other family members who scoff at the theories.
I just think "Comic Sans was never meant to by a typeface, I was just so horrified that KIDS might be reading TIMES NEW ROMAN!!!!" is a stupid fucking thing to say.

I don't know, personally Anime Ace 2 is the only one of those I'd pick over Comic Sans. Smack Attack is my go-to comic book font.
