I'm more upset that they aren't planning on puppy manners classes due to the expense. Even when I offered to help pay I got brushed off.

Ah, yes, the "I'm independent and can do things my way!" claim. Pity that the puppy (and their security deposit) will be the one to pay for that.

Is one of them not working, so they can stay home and housebreak the puppy?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, HEY THING IO9 DIDN'T SAY THEY WERE DOING... I make a post in the natter board last week, and they promote it to the IO9 front page today. Sheeit, that was during beta testing to boot. I know nothing is hidden, but that's why my notifications just shot through the roof.

I do feel a bit used....

I should get some work done instead of get irritated by that.

ION, since I'm getting money back on my taxes, I splurged on a gift for myself and bought this watch. I've had so much trouble with regular watches giving me rashes, I'm hoping this one will work.

Because books.

Oh, Suzi, that's not great news. This must be New Adulthood growing pains.

Our wings are not tired.

Consuela, what a cool watch!

I hit Sephora (the last time I was at a Sephora was with Amy, Lee, and Cashmere in Vegas!) yesterday to use up some of my bonus. Was super fun even though I looked ridiculous going to Trader Joes afterwards in full clubbing make-up. I am really into Nars products now.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I lucked out that she didn't rebel as a teen, so I guess it was due. I just worry about the puppy. They are already talking about a bark collar. They are both working and today was his first time being alone. I just don't see this working out well.

Because books.

Oh, puppies can't be alone all day. Yikes.

That's a long time between Sephora visits, javachik!

I know!! Usually I buy my make-up at Ulta because their locations are more convenient and I am not as intimidated by the salesclerks. But the staff at Sephora yesterday weren't snobby at all and were very friendly. And Ulta doesn't carry Nars...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oof. Not good.

The housetraining is the least of it, frankly.

Seriously? Bark collars are for when nothing else works, not the first thing out the gate! Have they even tried to train it? Oh, wait, no, because they just got the puppy.
