I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just realised I'd made a tumblr ties shopping post, and went back to see who the vendor was, and...Cyberoptix for the continued win. I was supposed to buy the circuit board ties for instance. I don't think I want them in brass colour, but, DUDE. I definitely should wear that to work next business formal day...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Echidna puggle update!

Awesome!

Cyberoptix for the continued win.

Workplace venting: Dude, you don't get a vote on these terms! You are not part of the terminology board! Your part in the process is to give dev feedback and context on proposed terms when we ask for it. I'm (not) sorry that you feel "left out of the meetings where the actual decision was made", but that's not your role.

P.S. Your role is also not being an argumentative asshat, but I've been told that no one has been able to change your mind about that. YET.

I am spending basically all day trying to find someone willing to accept responsibility for a decision I'll gladly make, but don't have the authority to. I need questions answered, and direction chosen.

And I got zip.

Because books.

I'll do it.

The boss's dog is SUCH a love. I'm plotting how to dognap her right now.

I'll give you my problem dev. He LOVES to answer questions and choose directions.

As long as whoever signs their name to it (I can't find a dev willing to do that) Amy or Jilli's problem child can have at it.

I just got one of the dumbest calls you can make to someone's cell phone: "I have a delivery for you and I am outside your home and no one is answering the door."

I'm really excited for you. If at any time you want to schedule a delivery for a time I am inside my home, let's talk. But why did you choose this order to do things in?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sharp stick to a soft, squishy spot?

Sharp stick to a soft, squishy spot?

I've been told that HR frowns on that. Right now I'm sticking to treating him like a bright and overly-helpful toddler.
