I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My experience is from over a decade ago and another state, so way less relevant. Which is too bad, because our IV nurses were timely and professional.

FWIW, I wasn't hoping that the scheduling would work itself out, I was hoping that complaining would lead to better results.

I washed (most of) my windows. Just the bottom halfs where they get all nose printy. Inside and out! And ALL of the kitchen window and the french doors. Must be the weather inspiring me.

-t, for me that's a work itself out thing. In our experience, you get what you get, with home health, even with lots of complaints.

In other news, dinner tonight is roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts tossed with miso-lime dressing and sausage spinach and tortellini soup in spicy chicken stock. Nom nom nom. I am loving miso paste.

Wow, that sounds tasty!

Oh, hey I can go ahead and have my leftover steak and roast asparagus, it's a fairly respectable dinner time. I have been so confused about what time it is all day long.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Am I the only one who does not find Russell Brand remotely funny?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

No, I don't care for Russell Brand, either.

I don't find his schtick amusing, but I retain some vague fondness for him and wish him well on a personal level for reasons I don't really remember. So I'm all "aw, good for him" about his various endeavors while not wanting to watch his show or movies or read his books.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

He wrote a really good op-ed a few months before he separated from his ex-wife, but his performance persona just isn't my cup of tea.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't seen Brand's standup in a while, but his Brand X show is more focussed around morals and principles than funny. But I did find him funny in standup and as a guest on interview shows, moreso than most of his movie roles.
