I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, that sounds tasty!

Oh, hey I can go ahead and have my leftover steak and roast asparagus, it's a fairly respectable dinner time. I have been so confused about what time it is all day long.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Am I the only one who does not find Russell Brand remotely funny?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

No, I don't care for Russell Brand, either.

I don't find his schtick amusing, but I retain some vague fondness for him and wish him well on a personal level for reasons I don't really remember. So I'm all "aw, good for him" about his various endeavors while not wanting to watch his show or movies or read his books.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

He wrote a really good op-ed a few months before he separated from his ex-wife, but his performance persona just isn't my cup of tea.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't seen Brand's standup in a while, but his Brand X show is more focussed around morals and principles than funny. But I did find him funny in standup and as a guest on interview shows, moreso than most of his movie roles.

So a couple hours of yardwork in the sun on skin that hasn't seen sunlight since November= a wee touch of sunburn. Why do I always forget?!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

("He will kill all the bacteria in your body--they all have a frequency, and his machine compensates for the frequency and flattens it out"...okay, that sounds not great if it works, this man and his $35K machine)

Woo Woo Nurse should try this out on herself for a while first. She might not be as sold on the bacteria-free lifestyle after all her gut flora die off...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

-t, was it the thing he wrote after Amy Winehouse (I think it was) died?

That sounds right, Jesse.
