A nurse ought to know that consuming colloidal silver will turn your skin permanently blue. Really bad idea. I'm sorry your nurse is a loon, ita !.

ita, your nurse should get together with my "medicine is not science" nutritionist.

On the other hand, you’ll be completely protected from lycanthropy. That’s what the nurse was concerned about, right?
The snake oil thing, while annoying, you might just have to put up with, but her not remembering she has an appointment with you seems like the kind of thing you could complain about to somebody, if there is a stage of complaining between not saying anything and asking for another nurse. That's not right, and I know when I worked for a home health agency our nurses would not have been allowed to be that cavalier about scheduling.
This is not our experience with home health agencies at all. Grace's first nurse was so consistently late that her school threatened to kick Grace out since no one was there to pick up the (3-year-old) when the bus arrived. Then her next nurse was late or would flake on regular occasions. The next nurse was good about letting us know when she would frequently be out.
Our current nurse told us Friday that she had to be at court on Monday, making it exceedingly difficult for Grace to get a replacement.
So, I wouldn't have high hopes that the scheduling situation would work itself out. But I'm cynical like that, 3 years and 5 nurses into my odyssey with home health agencies.

I'm cynical after 9-10 months. Including some of that private pay. There are amazing people out there, truly. But some aren't. And weekends are tough.
You deserve better, ita !, but I don't know if it will be findable or worth the fight. You really do deserve better.
I'm going to go try and see a comet tonight! Luckily a just past dusk one. So if it doesn't work out, and that's a possibility, it'll be an early night.
My experience is from over a decade ago and another state, so way less relevant. Which is too bad, because our IV nurses were timely and professional.
FWIW, I wasn't hoping that the scheduling would work itself out, I was hoping that complaining would lead to better results.
I washed (most of) my windows. Just the bottom halfs where they get all nose printy. Inside and out! And ALL of the kitchen window and the french doors. Must be the weather inspiring me.
-t, for me that's a work itself out thing. In our experience, you get what you get, with home health, even with lots of complaints.
In other news, dinner tonight is roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts tossed with miso-lime dressing and sausage spinach and tortellini soup in spicy chicken stock. Nom nom nom. I am loving miso paste.
Wow, that sounds tasty!
Oh, hey I can go ahead and have my leftover steak and roast asparagus, it's a fairly respectable dinner time. I have been so confused about what time it is all day long.
