Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, ita! I'm so glad you brought it and we're recognized for it.

What font do you have on your resume?

Garamond, I believe. I probably need to update that, as well as the contents.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nillybaby! And for the record, I say "toddler" starts when they start toddling around (ie, walking), and not before. It's a good thing the former TCBITW is a grown person now, because seriously.

I'm also super happy for, and impressed by, ita !.

And if my resume isn't TNR, it's something close. I am not about design.

hip deep in pie

My old theatre resume was futura, with my name is something even more modern and san serif. My resume now is in Times New Roman, I'm sure. Gov't resumes are no place for imagination.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think I went with TNR, too. I actually like Bookman a whole lot, but have to worry about character recognition and stuff like that.

ita, congrats! Having worked in development teams, I have a very good idea what it is you do and how very hard it is to do smoothly.

And pi-baby is adorbs, as he should be.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Nilly, Amitai is absolutely adorable.

Previously, buy putting the super-amazingly-delicious frozen mac and cheese from Beecher's in the oven. I haven't had any mac and cheese since going GF.

Amy's Kitchen makes some frozen GF mac and cheese.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm going for wild and daring on my resume. It will be Baskerville, with headings in Futura.

Oh, and I was just offered my old job back. Not going to accept, but I can't say much more about the really bizarre situation while posting online with my real name.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Turns out they can't live without you?

I vote you tell them you'll come back as a consultant at three times your previous hourly rate. And you set the hours.

Oh good LORD, Tom. I like Jess's plan.
