I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I just sent out a bunch of connection requests on LinkedIn, several of them to Buffistas. Must be the springish weather making me restless or something. I like my home, my neighbors, most aspects of my job, etc. But there's something nudging me, going, "Hey, wonder what's thataway?" Odds are nothing will come of it. Maybe. Anyway, if a comms/km person from an international NGO sent you a LinkedIn request today, she's probably me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bon, you're precisely on the topic I'm looking for, but none of those are the specific site. I'm a lot closer, now--it's something with a marginally inflammatory title that reminds me of "Everything you know is wrong", but that really doesn't seem to be it. Still, with the correct terminology, maybe I can find it now.

You are clearly the second least wrong person here.

Aha! Found it now! [link]

Thanks!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Seriously, the most annoying part about this gluten-free routine is that I have to be alert/paranoid about cross-contamination. I had a flare up last week, and the only explanation we could find was that I foolishly used the toaster (which, being a toaster, is full of bread crumbs) a few times.

What about your make-up? I read somewhere that a lot of lipsticks have gluten.

I'm in luck that the new brand I'm testing out for a review (Portland Black Lipstick Co.) are very clear about their ingredients, and there's no gluten. I'm afraid to check about MAC and Wet & Wild, but I know I have to.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Woo, I got to go buy Graeter's ice cream for work. And then eat it. Too bad that isn't the sum total of my job duties.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Our wings are not tired.

Jilli, I am so sorry to hear about your gluten problems. I have developed a real allergy to mangoes (two slices of dried mango last week have me still dealing with hives and rash all over my body) but mangoes are SO much easier to avoid than is gluten. My friend Carol started a site called glutenforpunishment.com I hope you can find some good info there. She has Celiac.
