What about your make-up? I read somewhere that a lot of lipsticks have gluten.
I'm in luck that the new brand I'm testing out for a review (Portland Black Lipstick Co.) are very clear about their ingredients, and there's no gluten. I'm afraid to check about MAC and Wet & Wild, but I know I have to.
Woo, I got to go buy Graeter's ice cream for work. And then eat it. Too bad that isn't the sum total of my job duties.

ita !, I knew the site you were looking for, but I wasn't here fast enough to tell you.
Jilli, I am so sorry to hear about your gluten problems. I have developed a real allergy to mangoes (two slices of dried mango last week have me still dealing with hives and rash all over my body) but mangoes are SO much easier to avoid than is gluten. My friend Carol started a site called glutenforpunishment.com I hope you can find some good info there. She has Celiac.
Carol! (is she the same one who did the French Laundry Cookbook recipe blog?)
It could completely be my perception, of course, but it seems like so many more people are discovering a sensitivity to gluten than has been the case before now. I'm wondering if one of the causes isn't consistently stressed immune systems, and we're reaching the tipping point of being able to tolerate other stressors. Also, see: asthma.
