Nilly, you sure do have a smile-making baby! What a dear!

NILLY! and PiBABY!
I haven't even looked at the pictures yet and my day is already better.
Last night was good at home. Per my therapist's instructions I asked mac if I was safe once we got home and wow was he surprised by that and a little hurt, but I think he understands. I stayed close by him all evening because he needs that.
This restores a bit of my faith in humanity: We're being trolled when the CSI guys go zoom/enhance off someone's eyeball, or two people do twice the work by both typing on a keyboard at once. At least, I hope both those are examples of the trolling. iid hate to think they're being offered up sincerely.
Nilly, I know your beautiful boy looks little to you in those pictures, since they're 4 months old, but all I can think is "He's so BIG!!!" And beautiful, too, of course.
Apparently he wasn't legally allowed to drive without the surgery. I mean, they were going to give him the license anyway, but they shouldn't have, so he had the surgery. Jesus.
My dad is a scary driver, for a lot of reasons, and one of them is his vision (he's 70 [Jesus, my dad is 70; what am *I*, 40? oh, wait], so declining vision is normal, but it still doesn't make his driving less scary), and he had cataract surgery in one eye at the beginning of this month, and the other eye is scheduled for early March. He said that there is a huge difference in the eye that was operated on, which is a relief to me. I'm hoping his driving will become less scary, if not totally normal.
I want to see one where they zoom and enhance a satellite photo to read someone's credit card number during an outdoor transaction.

Ha! I had the same reaction when my dad turned 70 a couple of weeks ago. And I'm actually 43! SO OLD!
After my mom's cataract surgery she stopped wearing her bifocals - her distance vision was essentially back to 20/20.
My dad's been legally blind without his glasses since as far back as I can remember. I don't know how much this can have, but if it pulls him back from the brink, that's great.
Why isn't Simon Baker even trying with the accent in last night's episode?
Hey, anyone here do that Instagram thing?
Also, why am I still dead today? And will I be able to take a sick day today (I tried yesterday, but only managed half...)?
My mother refused to admit that her vision was any better after she had one eye done. She'd only say that she was noticing dirt everywhere that she hadn't seen before.
