However, "Ghost Light", by Jonathon Moscone and Tony Taccone, now playing at Berkeley Rep, isn't it.

Ah well. I'm impressed by all the theater you go to, though! I always think I should, and then worry I'll pay money to see something that bores me for three hours.

Speaking of things that bore for three hours...the date was not boring, but it was three hours long (I didn't realize that!). Amusingly, though we went to a place she'd never heard of, when we walked upstairs, there was a table of straight women, and one of them turned to her and was like "....Sara???". Turns out they went to college together. Oh, small world.

Anyway, date was pretty good, she did not seem that short (possibly she had magic shoes). Not sure if there will be a second one...she's kinda drama right now. I was her first OKCupid date, she's still breaking up with the mother of her child (though she said they live in separate places now), it's busy season at her work, etc etc. (These aren't really excuses she made, but things she said that make me go "hmm...")

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You should check out some independent theater! It's cheaper AND shorter. And often better. And sometimes I'm in it, if you are here.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Most plays aren't three hours. 90 minutes with no intermission seems to be the popular trend for new plays.

Swouncing

Skipping way too much because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is one of those lovely double Buffista birthdays, of both Beverly as well as Benno.

Happy birthday, Beverly! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Happy birthday, Benno, you big boy! With lots of wishes for your mom, your sister, and all your family!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh. Woke up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Finally gave up trying about half an hour ago, with the plan of grading now and magically finding time to nap later.

Happy birthday to Beverly and Benno!

brillig

I woke up at 4 AM and went "Crap, I have to be up in half an hour to go to work." Stupid subconscious worried that the alarm won't go off.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy birthday to Beverly and Benno!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Beverly!!

I don't mind that. I saw a couple of Bway musicals on weeknights, and it was always a mistake, sleep-wise. On the other hand, I saw Speed-the-Plow on whatever night they start a half-hour earlier, and was home so early and happy. In short, I can't stay up late.

Happy Birthday Beverly and Benno!

I found out last night that Hot Innapropriately Young Guy now has a boyfriend, presumably having acquired him in the month since we last hooked up. Ah well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
