I just had that Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate with Speculoos Cookie Cream

Sooooo good!

I bought one of those and one of the caramel today. The checker was raving about them. Kinda looking forward to nomming.

The caramel is excellent, but then I'm a sucker for chocolate/caramel. (Although, to be totally honest, I prefer my caramel more firm, less liquidy, like a Rolo.)

I've had a mallet since college (won it and the honor of being the Gremlin in the Midnight Croquet sprees.) And I've found it quite useful!

Watching Fright Night. I like this! It should have done better. Colin Farrell's on fire, so to speak. And I really like how injured vamps act--they're all feral and creepy when their higher functions aren't engaged.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The caramel is going to be my downfall I think. It felt like I could break off just a section. If so, gooey caramel is just fine with me. I need to eat dinner first though.

Yikes. Didn't realize it was quite that bad. I skim the NOLA Ready emails but haven't been counting.

I have a rubber mallet. Handy for pounding my bumper back in, among other things.

Yeah, there was the 13 murders in 13 days, and now there's been 7 murders in 4 days. OMJEEZUS.

No problems in the tourism district, though. I'm pretty sure that's where all the cops are.
