This stuff is kinda cute, but overpriced for the gimmick.
Natter 69: Practically names itself.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

"Error establishing a database connection"?
Whatever it is, I think you broke it.
What can I say? It likes *me* just fine.
I finally got to see the site. But now how much they cost.
Yeah, the site obviously wants ita ! to buy stuff but not me.
I saw it, but do not understand.
So, I know I keep harping on this Healthy Menu thing, but the choices for lunch are:
- Beer Battered Fish Fry with Coleslaw AND Fries
- Baked Halibut with Tomato and Basil
- Nachos Grande
None of these are marked Healthy, but based on their chart the halibut is WAY healthier than any other option. In fact it meets all the criteria except only having one gram of fiber. I think if you had this and a salad, you would be fine. BUT-- "not healthy"
Since they have started this program, they have not offered one entree that is marked healthy. The only healthy things today are mixed vegetables and collard greens
ION, the consensus seems to be that Romney will win in Florida and Newt's campaign will probably be over. It was fun while it lasted.
But look! Other fun Republican infighting:
Conservatives Criticize Drudge for Anti-Gingrich Assault
Furious conservatives have taken to blogs and Twitter on Thursday to vent their ire against what they allege is a conspiratorial dumping of twisted and manipulated negative attacks on Newt Gingrich.
The target of their fury: The Drudge Report.
For the last 48 hours, the conservative Web site led by Matt Drudge has become a virtual campaign arm for Mitt Romney, featuring huge, screaming headlines about Mr. Gingrich and his past.
That prompted conservatives who support Mr. Gingrich to accuse Mr. Drudge of selling out to the Republican establishment — many of whom have come to Mr. Romney’s aid as the battle with Mr. Gingrich has heated up.
Let's you and him fight!
What the hell are the criteria for "healthy"?
Today's "Healthy Balance" entree in my cafe (the only one listed all week) is Mango Turkey Burger: served with a side of fried plantains.
Those bags freak me out. But I like them?
The Criteria are different for each type, but...
Hot Entrees
- Calories ≤ 400 per serving
- Fat ≤ 15 grams
- Saturated Fat ≤ 4 grams
- Trans Fatty Acids ≤ 0 grams
- Fiber ≥ 3 grams
- Sugar ≤ 15 grams
- Sodium ≤ 1000 milligrams
So what are people doing this weekend?
It's my dad's 80th birthday. My sis, gf and family are going to take my dad out to dinner tomorrow. Then my two brothers and I are going to show up at the restaurant and surprise him. Should be fun.
I'm planning to drive over to Memphis to see a couple of foreign films starring Michael Fassbender Saturday afternoon, and maybe trying to talk the folks into going out to dinner Sunday.
