Erika, do you use OKCupid? Because...if so...

Consuela, have you tried yousendit.com? That's what I use at work when we don't want to use either our or a client company's FTP site.

We are not allowed to use filesharing sites. Period. I have a hell of a time even getting into some of our contractors' FTP sites, because our security wall keeps blocking them.

For reasons that the name "Bradley Manning" might enlighten you about...

Ah, if there's DoD or other high security government material involved I can definitely see why even the legal options would be suspect from a security standpoint.

Well, I certainly don't deal with any of that stuff, nor does anyone in my offices. But we have 35,000 employees, and the network is configured for the security of those working with the most sensitive information.

Ha, vindication! All the tenants in my building just got the landlord's mass e-mail about the disturbance I reported last week, and it was both more specific to the incident than I'd imagined (which I'm glad of, as another neighbor has since had a weekend party and might have thought the complaint was about him if the message hadn't specified a weeknight) and sterner, pointing out the disruption is a violation of the lease we all signed and persisting in such behavior may lead to eviction.

I'm not sure yet which way things will shake out, but looks like I'm either going to have a quiet neighbor or a new one.

ita, ha... We'd have one huge thing in common. And he probably wouldn't mind using "Gangster's Paradise" as a wedding processional. But I'm getting ahead of myself. why would anyone hate being told they look like Kima? She's hot and she's a fighter...I'd preen all day. Of course, I look like Kima's photo-negative so there are probably Issues I Don'T Understand. But Sonja Sohn is awesome-looking. And a poet(and not "Your Feet are Longfellows" kind)ETA: I do think the young fiends who watch "The Wire" but don't read are missing the point, just a touch. Also, as profound of a Wire Geek as I am, I don't need to know that you barely stopped to pee. Shit ain't seemly.

Seriously. When she went undercover for surveillance as a phone company worker or electrician or whatever, I'm thinking "But you know everyone's staring at the hot chick in the overalls, right? No matter what her job, she's turning a non-negligible %age of heads." OR SHE SHOULD BE.
